Description
The brewery produces a range of craft-quality beers. It uses natural ingredients (malt, hops, yeast, water),
some of which are sourced locally, whilst others come from Germany or elsewhere. No artificial additives are used.
The brewing process takes place on-site, from mashing to bottling.
Annual production currently stands at around 60,000 litres. The beers are bottled in 330 ml bottles and served and sold on site.
They are also available in the online shop.
Typical and current beer varieties:
#Hell** (e.g. Becherfels – Hell): A classic Helles, one of the bestsellers.
#Hefe-Weißbier** (e.g. Ridnauner Schneespitze – Hefe-Weißbier): Unfiltered wheat beer with typical aromas.
#IPA / Session IPA** (e.g. Kleine Ferse – Session IPA): A lighter IPA variant, hoppy; complemented by other IPA styles such as NEIPA (e.g. Hohe Ferse – NEIPA).
#Dunkel** (e.g. Erzader – Dunkel): A dark beer with malty and roasted notes.
#IGA** (Italian Grape Ale): Beer made with local grapes (e.g. Goldmuskateller), often bottle-fermented – a regional speciality.
Other varieties include Pale Ale (e.g. Gipfelhupfer – Pale Ale), Altbier (e.g. N° 9 – Altbier) and seasonal specialities such as Festbier (e.g. Ridnauner Festbier).
The range may vary depending on the season.
